I have had so many requests for this recipe so I wanted to do an actual post for you all and not just only share it in my accountability groups! We love pizza and although it’s hard to imagine, this can actually take about just as much time as a Papa Murphy’s pizza or waiting for a delivery!
We like to top ours with fresh herbs, zucchini sliced really thinly, bell peppers, and of course cheese and pepperoni! I like to used organic tomato sauce as well.

WHOLE WHEAT PIZZA DOUGH
2 1/2- 3 cups whole wheat all-purpose flour
1 package active dry yeast
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup warm water (120 degrees F to 130 degrees F)
2 tablespoons vegetable oil or olive oil
In a large mixing bowl combine 1-1/4 cups of the flour, the yeast, and salt; add warm water and oil. Beat with an electric mixer on low speed for 30 seconds, scraping bowl. Beat on high speed 3 minutes. Using a wooden spoon, stir in as much of the remaining flour as you can.
Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface. Knead in enough remaining flour to make a moderately stiff dough that is smooth and elastic (6 to 8 minutes total). Divide dough in half. Cover; let rest for 10 minutes. Roll out and top with desired toppings. Bake at 425 for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
