I know this sounds ridiculous but this was a total breakthrough week for me of actually having some dance enlightenment! First, I can totally shake my hips and find myself doing the moves even when I’m not working out! Second, I am learning that dancers are so good about isolating specific parts of the body. Dance Conditioning is one of the workouts that I love in the program and it combines more traditional workout moves with ballet basics and I feel like I get to relive all my childhood dreams of dance class!
If you want a little laugh you can see how much fun this is, but my group is down an average of 5 lbs, so don’t laugh too hard!
I asked the girls in my test group to let me know their results so far and here are a few that I am so excited to share:
So it’s like this program was designed for me! I do my weight and measurements on Mondays but I knows of week 1 I was down 3lbs and 3inches! I have seen even more of a change in my body this second week so in super excited to see what the numbers are on Monday! I feel awesome too. The food is super easy and I no longer have to have caffeine in a day. Yep I’m loving this!
I like how 30 minutes has never felt like 30 minutes!! So far I’ve lost 5lbs and still going!! The meal plan is something I’ve been doing for a year and I love it!! I find that when I “cheat” I don’t always like the food that I choose, even if my brain says it looks or smells good since I typically get sick afterwards. I can’t wait to see what happens when I combine the best of both worlds (strength and amazing cardio)!
I am loving the program! I love that the routines are short and fun…and I still feel like I’m getting a real workout in because I’m pouring sweat and waking up feeling it. Not sure if I’ve lost any weight since starting though I was happy with what the scale said at my doctors appointment last week, 158, that’s pre-babies (all three of them) weight folks! I feel like my stomach is tightening up and my legs (and even my arms) are toning. And the meal plan is good. It’s straight forward and easy to understand.
I actually look forward to my workout every day. Love how fun it is! It’s nice to have structure to my meal plan also. Makes it so much easier to eat healthy when I can plan everything out.
So here is my meal plan for the week– I’m adding in the Three Day Refresh at the beginning of the week, so it looks a little different, but you can see I keep it pretty simple. You can learn more about the Refresh here. I love doing it quarterly and it gets easier every time!
