It’s the final countdown! Last week of 22 Minute Hard Corps in the bag! There is a bonus “Hell Week” that you can do so I’m taking on that challenge this week (and it’s intense, so wish me luck!). I am excited to share my final pictures with you all next week– I haven’t been trying to lose weight, but have definitely gotten leaner and stronger, so that’s a plus– and also unexpected since I was in such good shape coming out of Hammer and Chisel (speaking of which, I got this sweet shirt in the mail for completing it! How fun is it that Beachbody gives out free swag for completing a program?!).
Like I mentioned in my last post, the last couple weeks build in intensity so this week was no different– lots of challenging moves and I was literally drenched in sweat, even at 5:30 AM but it’s only 22 minutes, so in terms of being motivated, it helps SO much!
Today was the Fit Test, so I was able to see an actual performance improvement as well (except for pull-ups– those things are my nemesis! I can do a lot with the assist, but taking it a way makes it SO hard!)
This program obviously has a military focus which I personally love and it’s really focused on basic, functional movements, so while it is definitely tough, there’s nothing too crazy in there…other than the million different variations of burpees you do! If you’re looking for a challenging program that will definitely get your results in a short amount of time this one will do it. The great workout combined with the spot-on nutrition and Shakeology is the perfect combo to get you set for summer!
And below is my meal plan for the week– basic and a lot of repeats, but this week is busy for us, so keeping it simple keeps it real. And if any other working moms can relate, it’s all about being able to get meals on the table quickly after getting home from work!
